What is a wellness coach? Wellness coaches work with people to help them improve all areas of well-being. This includes, fitness, nutrition, stress, health, weight, communication, and management of life issues that impact all areas of wellness.
Is the coach-client relationship confidential? YES. The dialogue disclosed during all coaching sessions is strictly confidential. As a coach I am not allowed to disclose any information that has been discussed nor am I allowed to inform others of my clients’ identities unless my client gives me permission to do so or does so on their own.
How long can I be coached and how often? A coaching arrangement runs in three month increments, this is the standard time for solid results to take place and habits to form. A contract is presented and signed by both my client and coach. The sessions are once a week for 30 minutes via phone or Skype. Once the six-month contract is up, the client can discontinue their sessions or continue coaching on a month by month basis.
In what areas can a wellness coach help me? ALL. A wellness coach is skilled to coach their client through any wellness circumstances the client deems important, professional and personal.
Why is coaching considered valuable? A personal coach is valuable because they have training in facilitating change. Life coaches follow a process that brings immediate change or improvement to their client’s life and at the same time they are building the foundation within their clients to live from the inside out which allows the client to easily implement future change and improvement.
What other kinds of coaching is offered? One on one coaching, group coaching, workshops, programs; corporate and private.
To find what you seek in the road of life, the best proverb of all is that which says: "Leave no stone unturned."
